2 times 3 equals 4: Blue Engineering with the Wander Circus in Fulda – 19 > 21 March 2025

From March 19 to 21, 2025, Fulda University of Applied Sciences once again welcomed visitors with the words: “Clear the ring!” For its fourth appearance, the Wander Circus found a new playground here – Hall 8 was transformed into a circus tent, a thinking space, and a carnival of ideas all at once. Twenty new travelers from the fields of education, democracy, and sustainability joined the colorful ensemble, including a voice from the Blue Engineering team at TU Berlin.

In the tension between circus and carnival, the circus performers ventured acrobatic leaps between their professional and personal lives: old challenges were juggled, hidden treasures of their own practice were unearthed, and unfamiliar perspectives were taken. Laughter, learning, stumbling, and getting back up were just as much a part of it as the serious search for ways to make university teaching more democratic and sustainable. Fulda proved that the traveling circus remains a free space to say the unthinkable, try the unfamiliar—and maintain a healthy dose of lightheartedness in the process.
